What we collect

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name. We store your predictions, display name, and the timestamps of when predictions were sealed and revealed.

If you seal a prediction without signing in, we store only the prediction text, a cryptographic hash, the timestamps, and a random token that lets you reveal it later. No name, no email, no account. Nothing else.

Why we collect it

Your email identifies your account. Your predictions are the service — without storing them, ClldiT doesn't work. If you use the app without an account, we store only what's necessary for the seal-and-reveal mechanism. We don't use your data for advertising, profiling, or anything beyond providing the app.

Who we share it with

  • Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the United States.
  • Vercel — hosting and anonymous, cookieless analytics (page view counts only — no personal data), hosted in the United States.
  • Google — only for sign-in. We don't share your data back to Google.

We do not sell your data.

Cookies

If you sign in with Google, we use one session cookie to keep you signed in between visits — without it, you'd need to log in each time. If you seal without an account, no cookies are set.

We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

Your rights

If you have an account, you can delete it and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your predictions, display name, and account are removed from our systems.

If you sealed without an account, there's nothing to delete. Anonymous predictions expire automatically 90 days after sealing and are removed at that point.

For any other data requests, email hello@clldit.com.

Data retention

Signed-in accounts: we keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, everything goes with it.

Anonymous predictions: these expire 90 days after sealing whether revealed or not. After expiry they can no longer be revealed and are removed from our systems.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Since we don't have your email for marketing, check back here if you're curious.
